TRAVEL INFORMATION

Kazimierz Dolny is located on the Vistula River, about 140 kilometres from Warszawa, 50 kilometres from Lublin and 14 kilometres from Puławy.

To get to Poland, we recommend taking a plane to the Warsaw "Fryderyk Chopin Airport".

You may  take a flight to Lublin Airport, but there are only a few regular international  connections (Barcelona El Prat Airport, Doncaster Sheffield Aiport, Dublin Airport, Eindhoven Airport, Glasgow Airport, Liverpool - John Lennon Airport, London Luton Airport, London Stansted Airport, Munich Airport, Oslo Torp Sandefjord Airport, Stovkholm Skavsta Airport, Heraklion Airport Nikos Kazantzakis HER). Lublin Airport is located  only 10 km east from Lublin and 60 km from Kazimierz Dolny.

Railway line Warsaw - Pulawy - Lublin is under renovation.

Access to Pulawy and Kazimierz Dolny is only possible by buses.

 

TRAVEL FROM WARSAW AIRPORT TO KAZIMIERZ DOLNY

BY RENT-A-CAR:

Most of worldwide rental companies operate at Warsaw and Lublin airports. It is convenient to choose this option if your plane arrives late in the evening. Fares start from 100 PLN (~25 EUR) per day.

BY MINIBUS:

Minibuses to Kazimierz Dolny depart from the Warsaw Airport in front of the departures hall (upper level), terminal A, zone C. Some other minibuses go from Warszawa Centralna vicinity (see below how to get there) to Kazimierz Dolny:

Price is 30 PLN (~8 EUR).

From Warsaw (Okecie airport) to Warsaw main railway station (stations "Warszawa Centralna" or "Warszawa Srodmiescie"): Train connection operated by SKM and KM Companies (depart at Okecie, underground station, about 100 m to the right from the main entrance to the arrival hall). If you get off at Warszawa Srodmiescie you need to walk to the railway station through underground passage (5 min). City bus No. 175 (bus station: third lane in front of arrival hall, slightly on the right, tickets in kiosks or in ticket machines). A taxi costs around 40 PLN (10 EUR). Omit taxi drivers inviting to a taxi INSIDE arrivals hall! Take an official taxi IN FRONT OF arrivals hall.

Trip to Warszawa Centralna takes around 30 minuters depending on the chosen transport and traffic.
